The Father

This is the story of a strong handsome man who was getting ready to be a first time father. The man was nervous, yet excited to be a father. When his wife finally gave birth to their son, the man was so proud.  The man held up his baby boy and kissed him on the forehead. He whispered into his sons ear that he would teach him how to be a strong and brave man. The man was ecstatic. Not long after his wife gave birth to a baby girl. When he picked up his daughter for the first time, he was nervous. He told himself he would try to be a worthy father to his new born daughter. He took his family home.

At first things were good. His children were happy and his family was prospering. Everyone was healthy. Soon after things took a turn, his wife was no longer producing milk to feed his baby girl. He had flashbacks to his childhood and remembered how his baby brother had died. His mother had been devastated. He knew he had to try to help his family. He told his wife he was going out for some milk. She believed him. He went to the nearest store and asked where he could get the “magic milk.” The cashier was very confused at first. He then explained to him that he wanted it for babies. He said the magic milk came in powder but when added water it would turn to milk. The Cashier told him that they were out of stock because there was a shortage. He asked where he could find some and the cashier told him to try the neighboring cities grocery store. He drove to the next towns grocery store and they told him the same thing. He kept driving and driving in hopes that he could find the magic milk.
